It works with pressurized and gravity-fed systems, installs inline on the water line, and does not require anything to be drilled into the tank. This gauge tracks water use from the programmed starting amount. After refilling the tank, the gauge must be reset so the stored total matches the amount of water in the tank.

1. How does this water tank gauge work?
The sender installs inline on the water line and the gauge tracks water use from the programmed tank amount. Your phone displays the remaining water in liters or gallons through the Bluetooth app.
2. Do I need internet or Wi-Fi to use it?
No. The gauge uses Bluetooth, so you can check water levels without an internet connection when you are within communication range.
3. Do I have to reset the gauge after refilling my tank?
Yes. After you refill the tank, reset the gauge so the stored total returns to the amount currently in the tank.
4. Can I use it if I only partially refill the tank?
Yes, but you need to update the gauge total to match the amount of water currently in the tank so the count remains accurate.
5. Does the app remember my device?
Yes. The app remembers the device, and the gauge stores the settings and totals in the Bluetooth module.
6. Can it be powered by AA batteries or 12V?
Yes. It can run on 2 AA batteries or with the optional Topargee 12V adapter.
7. Can I wire 12V directly to the gauge?
No. Do not wire 12V directly to the gauge. Use the correct 12V adapter.
8. Where should the sender be installed?
For best results, install the sender about 200 mm after the pump and away from 90 degree elbows. If space is limited, it can be fitted before the pump.
9. Can I cut or join the sender lead?
No. The sender and extension leads should not be cut or joined. Use the proper extension lead if you need more length.
10. What fittings do I need for installation?
The sender has 1/2 in BSP male threads. Many customers use 1/2 in BSP female to 1/2 in NPT male adapters, or other compatible plumbing fittings that suit their hose and system.
